Daarna heette het 'het Oudemannenhuis', Cultureel centrum de Beyerd, Graphic Design Museum en MOTI en sinds 2017 dus Stedelijk Museum Breda. The museum has two expositions on display: the permanent exposition about the history of Breda and a variable exposition; in the time frame of our visit this was an exposition about the village of Dongen and the various painters who got their inspiration there in the 19th century.

Een prachtig begijnenhof. Het museum is zeker de moeite waard. Het hof zelf is gratis maar het museum kost €2,- . De dame van het museum heeft alles uitgelegd en verteld hoe het leven nu en vroeger in het hof was. Mijn dochter vond het prachtig. Ook heeft ze de kelder laten zien die onder elk huisje zit.
